Vincent M. D’Agostino is originally from New Haven, Connecticut but grew up in the Tampa Bay Area. He attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and graduated magna cum laude. While at Flagler College, he also minored in Pre-Law and Political Science and participated in the Semester At Sea Program with the University of Pittsburgh.
After college, Mr. D’Agostino joined the U.S. Peace Corps where he served for two years in Swaziland, Africa. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, he lived without running water and electricity and provided HIV/AIDS education and resources to his village. When he returned home from Africa, he worked during the day at Suncoast Hospice where he provided HIV/AIDS case management services and attended law school in the evenings at Stetson University College of Law. While at law school, he edited the Journal of International Wildlife Law & Policy, served as the President of the student-led LAMBDA group, and accepted the PRIDE Award for Public Service.
Mr. D’Agostino graduated from law school in 2012 and had the privilege of interning at The White House. After his internship, he began his legal career with the Guardian Ad Litem Program as a Staff Attorney in Broward County, Florida where he represented the best interests of neglected and abused children. He accepted an opportunity to cross over into private practice where he first worked as an Associate Attorney with Wolpe & Leibowitz in Miami, Florida and then as an Associate Attorney with Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where his areas of practice ranged from Construction Law and Nursing Home/Assisted Living Facility Defense to Vehicle Negligence and Premises Liability.
Before joining our firm, Mr. D’Agostino was a Staff Attorney with the Capital Collateral Regional Counsel in South Florida where he specialized in criminal appellate work and represented capital defendants on Florida’s Death Row. Upon joining our firm, he relocated back home to Tampa Bay to be closer to his family, Godchildren, and friends. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and running his own news network on social media.
