Amanda Hornick has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2015. She has served as both a prosecutor and a public defender and has tried 30 criminal cases as lead or assisting counsel.
As an undergraduate student, she studied psychology, with minors in pre-law and criminal justice, and graduated summa cum laude. During her undergraduate years, was inducted into three honor societies: Alpha Lambda Delta (the honor society for first-year academic success), Psi Chi (the International Honor Society in Psychology), and Alpha Phi Sigma (the Criminal Justice Honor Society); she served in leadership for both Psi Chi and Alpha Phi Sigma. At graduation, she received an award for psychology student of the year.
In law school, she was a member of Law Review and the Moot Court Board, where she helped coach undergraduate students for an interscholastic competition.
