Michael Coughlin is an associate attorney with Freeman, Goldis, & Cash. Prior to joining our Firm, Michael practiced personal injury law, handling matters that include automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability claims, and negligent security matters. Additionally, Michael also has significant experience handling Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters, as well as subrogation claims on behalf of insurance companies. Michael has tried several jury trials in the past several years.
Michael graduated Cum Laude from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, College of Law. Prior to law school, Michael attended the University of Central Florida, where he studied Criminal Justice and Accounting. While earning his undergraduate degree, Michael was also a member of the University’s Rowing Team and participated in intramural soccer and baseball. Michael moved to Tampa in 2018 and enjoys being outside, playing sports, and fishing with his two sons.
